What's new

User-visible changes, newest first.

  1. 28 September 2026

    Choose how mobile transactions appear

Try three transaction list styles on phones.

    • Switch between Cards, Ledger, and Compact in mobile transaction list settings, with expense and transfer previews for each style.
    • Mobile rows open the transaction preview when tapped; Institution, Account, and Payment source appear together in its details list.
    • Ledger and Compact align amounts and dates in one column, including rows with longer descriptions.
    • Tap the date in the mobile transaction drawer to see exact and relative timestamps in a nested drawer.
    • When a transaction spans accounts, each institution, account, and payment source appears on its own line in the details list.
    • Transactions with several categories or payees show each one on its own line in the details list.
    • Cards give account and category details more space, Ledger keeps dates aligned with account details, and Compact stays easy to scan.
  2. 28 September 2026

    Tighter transactions toolbar on phones

The row count and action icons stay on one line on small screens.

    • Transactions toolbar actions no longer wrap under the row count on mobile, so the list gets more vertical space.
  3. 28 September 2026

    Clearer banks and accounts settings

Manage institutions, accounts, and payment sources with simpler lists and forms.

    • Scan banks, accounts, and payment sources in compact tables with edit, detail, and browse actions.
    • Create and edit items in one aligned form with grouped fields, a clear save action, and guidance for missing account selections or incomplete device numbers.
    • Review account moves and cash account merges in a refreshed organiser with a visible selection count.
  4. 28 September 2026

    Better link-existing search on series

Finding past transactions to attach to a recurring series works more like the main transactions list.

    • Search supports AND, OR, NOT, quotes, and the same combined fields as global search (description, payee, pocket, category, amount, date).
    • Filter by payee, category, amount range, approximate amount, payment source, and date — and keep the sheet open to link more results in one go.
    • Amount filters now apply before the result limit, so matching older payments are not dropped silently.
    • Load additional matching transactions beyond the first page, and scroll the full link drawer on mobile with the search guide across its full width.
  5. 28 September 2026

    Wallet device card numbers

Store Apple Pay and Google Pay device last fours on a card so wallet imports can match automatically.

    • Add wallet or device last-four numbers on debit, credit, and virtual cards, with an optional label such as iPhone or Apple Watch.
    • Wallet inbox suggestions match those device numbers the same way they match the card’s primary last four.
  6. 28 September 2026

    Clearer balance checks worksheet

The all-accounts balance checks page is denser and easier to fill in quickly.

    • Accounts are grouped by institution on denser rows, with as-of and amount on the left and Save on the right.
    • Open the as-of picker and use Today (calendar) for midnight today, or Now next to the time for the current moment.
    • When a check does not match, Explain difference lets you note why and mark it reviewed.
    • Browse combined check history as a day-grouped timeline, and edit or delete past checks from the worksheet, account pages, or an institution’s history.
  7. 28 September 2026

    Clearer account and source guidance

Account and source guidance now follows the shared account balance.

    • Read how Direct and card payment sources contribute to an account balance in the feature list and support answers.
    • Dashboard and account lists now use account and payment-source labels consistently, including the Savings Pot subtype.
    • Payment source activity labels its count as ledger lines, matching the line-level records it counts.
    • Filtering the dashboard to a card or Direct source keeps its whole account balance and running balance in view, with clearer filter guidance.
  8. 28 September 2026

    Balance checks in one place

Record provider balances for every open account without opening each account page.

    • Open Balance checks from Banks & accounts or the weekly review to enter each provider balance and date in one list.
    • See which accounts still need a check this week, save per account, and explain differences without leaving the page.
  9. 28 September 2026

More room on the schedule overview

The schedule snapshot uses less space on phones so upcoming items show sooner.

    • On mobile, overdue and upcoming totals sit side by side, with New, Series and Scan on one row above the calendar strip.
    • Review and Prices (and other simple schedule tabs) scroll on mobile again instead of clipping below the fold.
  10. 28 September 2026

    Clearer accounts and payment sources

Identify accounts and cards more easily throughout the hierarchy and payment pickers.

    • Save the last four digits of an account number, and a cardholder name and expiry date for cards.
    • See card names with their last four digits in payment source lists and pickers, with the account identifier in the account path.
    • Automatic Direct sources appear as Account activity or Cash activity, making their purpose clearer.
  11. 28 September 2026

Account details and weekly balance checks

Track useful account and card details, then reconcile balances during the weekly review.

    • Save institution import aliases, account holders, credit payment due days, savings goals, card status, replacement cards and spending limits.
    • See last activity and recent net movement for accounts and payment sources, and use institution aliases for wallet suggestions.
    • Record dated provider balance checks for each account, explain differences, and see outstanding checks in the weekly checklist and Monday reminder.
    • Account backups now include balance checks and their explanations.
  12. 28 September 2026

    Tidier transaction filters

Hierarchy filter counts and quick actions are easier to scan.

    • Counts sit at the right edge of each filter row, with the “only” action appearing immediately to their left on hover.
  13. 27 September 2026

    Clearer transaction hierarchy filters

Browse and select banks, accounts, payees and categories with clearer controls.

    • Open child items by clicking anywhere on a parent row, or use its checkbox to filter the whole branch.
    • Select a parent item in its own section above the children, with a separate back header that stays clear while scrolling.
  14. 27 September 2026

Account balances and payment source activity

Account balances now bring together card and Direct activity, while payment sources show how money moved.

    • View one balance for each account in the bank directory, dashboard and balance menu, including card purchases and Direct repayments.
    • Open a payment source to see monthly or all-time spending, receipts and net activity, with a link to its account balance.
    • Payment source lists show Direct and cards without presenting them as separate balances.
    • Edit an account’s opened date in account settings; account closure dates and opening balance markers now belong to the account.
    • Savings Pots remain a distinct savings account subtype; credit limits and their saved histories belong to accounts, and provider websites belong to institutions.
  15. 26 September 2026

Account links use their current IDs

Institution and account links now use their UUIDs directly.

    • Use current institution and account links; bookmarks with the previous migration IDs no longer redirect.
  16. 26 September 2026

    Cleaner institution and account links

Migrated institutions and accounts now use the same ID format as newly created ones.

    • Institution and account links use standard UUIDs.
    • Money-pocket identities, transactions, balances and account history are preserved.
  17. 26 September 2026

    Smoother details and scheduled posting

Pre-approved recurring payments are still posted on schedule, with fewer background checks. Account and timestamp details slide between rows without flashing closed.

    • Hovering between transaction rows moves one shared details panel, with a short pause before closing so you can reach its links.
    • Account details stay on the left, timestamp details on the right, and movement respects your reduced-motion preference.
    • Automatic posting now checks four times an hour (:00, :15, :30, :45) instead of every minute. The ledger date stays the scheduled posting time.
  18. 25 September 2026

Wallet suggestions and recurring payment controls

See actual linked payment amounts and add missing history to paused or ended series. Wallet imports recognise debit and virtual cards alongside credit cards.

    • Transaction account details open to the left, share timestamp hover timing and transitions, and show only one account or timestamp card at a time.
    • Dashboard filters now use the same bank, account and payment-source hierarchy as transactions, including whole-branch selection.
    • Mobile navigation stays highlighted on Banks & accounts, Schedule and Summaries pages; transaction details, refunds and summaries consistently use payment-source labels.
    • Banks & accounts filters now live in the sidebar: drill through institutions, accounts and sources, or select an entire branch.
    • Wallet suggestions match card names and last four digits and exclude closed accounts and institutions.
    • Recurring-series forms, previews and loading states consistently use payment source labels.
    • Bank directory loading placeholders no longer produce an HTML nesting warning.
    • Transaction tables show account names; hover, focus or tap an account to see a compact linked institution, account and payment-source hierarchy, including both sides of transfers.
    • Series edits preserve customised pending payments. Amount and forecast changes update generated drafts in place; conflicting schedule changes explain which saved payments need resolving.
    • Series actions come before the Automation and Forecast details tools. Paused series show their resume date, and payment matching shows amounts, times, pockets and payees.
    • Navigation waits for hydration before displaying cached sign-in details, avoiding a loading-placeholder mismatch.
    • Linked occurrences show their actual transaction amount instead of the saved forecast. Transfer totals count the money moved once, including scheduled one-offs and filtered linking searches.
    • Use Link existing on active, paused or ended series to add individual or multiple transactions without restarting the schedule.
  19. 24 September 2026

    Clearer accounts and recurring forecasts

Understand and adjust forecasts, record card statement payments, and reconcile estimates with actual transactions. Bank directories and settings keep search and filters in one compact toolbar.

    • Banks and accounts buttons use the shared button spacing without extra gaps around their icons.
    • Merge duplicate cash accounts: preview the combined balance, move transactions and linked payments or imports to one Direct source, and delete the duplicate while retaining its original details and old directory links.
    • Resolve duplicate cash accounts during or after migration: keep your existing cash account as default and delete the unused starter without moving its transaction history.
    • Search institutions, accounts and sources without stacked filter rows. Open Filters to change status, sorting or parent selections.
    • Migrated institutions and accounts now open correctly from directory links, including their settings, history, statements and payment sources.
    • Balance labels, values and quick stats sit inline on wider screens to free more vertical space.
    • Compact balance and quick-stat summaries leave more room for account content, with activity actions alongside on wide screens.
    • Account directories no longer add extra bottom space for mobile navigation that is already reserved by the app.
    • Schedule payments on the last working day of the month, excluding weekends and England/Wales bank holidays, including published one-off holidays.
    • Pause a series until a chosen date. It resumes automatically without posting a backlog of missed payments.
    • Set a per-series automatic approval limit. Larger payments stay pending for review, and lowering the limit removes affected pre-approvals without changing saved amounts.
    • See the actual payments and observed range behind forecasts, exclude unusual payments, and choose a starting date after a salary change.
    • Enter credit-card statement payment amounts and collection dates on transfer series, with historical averages for months without a statement.
    • Match income and transfers to recurring occurrences, or replace an unchanged auto-posted estimate with the actual payment so it is counted once.
    • Open Automation and Forecast details from series header buttons, keeping payment activity closer to the top of the page.
    • Schedule calendar labels now render consistently across browsers and the server, avoiding a loading hydration error.
    • Empty Next up and Suggestions cards now center their messages with more breathing room.
    • Next up shows flexible date ranges, and the Overdue total waits until each payment period ends.
  20. 23 September 2026

Flexible recurring amounts, dates and times and account settings tables and separate cash accounts

Recurring series can follow actual payments and allow a period when money is expected to move. Manage every level of your finances in one settings area, with a default home for cash and unassigned accounts.

    • Institutions, accounts and payment sources have separate settings pages with shared navigation, searchable tables, and parent and status filters.
    • Switching between account settings pages keeps existing data visible while refreshing, avoiding repeated skeleton flashes.
    • Table drill-down links preserve parent filters and support opening in a new tab or copying the destination.
    • Review legacy migration before applying it: every pocket becomes an account with its existing history on Direct, and matching company names share an institution.
    • Organise accounts in bulk with searchable selection, a destination preview and protected defaults. Sources and transactions stay with their accounts.
    • Explore redesigned bank directories with institution cards, account lists, focused payment-source views, breadcrumbs, search and status filters.
    • Full-page editors use searchable selectors, account-specific options and clearer sections for cards, statements, notes and availability.
    • Cash & unassigned is created automatically with an initial Cash account, and receives migrated accounts without a named provider.
    • Create additional cash accounts for separate wallets or reserves. Each has one Direct source and cannot contain cards or pots.
    • Choose a fixed amount, the latest actual payment, or an average of recent actual transactions (six by default). Untouched pending estimates update while edited and pre-approved amounts stay saved.
    • Allow days before and after an expected date, or choose a day-of-month range. Overdue reminders wait until the period ends.
    • Use historical local posting times or set an exact time. Pre-approved occurrences become eligible at that time and automatic posting checks every minute.
    • Variable income and transfer suggestions stay together across changing amounts. Recurring transfers preserve both pockets and show the amount moved once.
  21. 22 September 2026

    Consistent account pages and navigation

Browse institutions, accounts and cards with full-width pages, consistent settings and stable loading states.

    • Institutions and account pages now use the full available width, with settings headers and scrollable forms matching the rest of the app.
    • Account and card links follow the institution hierarchy, and older Money Pocket links open the new pages.
    • Loading placeholders now follow the layouts of account directories, settings, history and statements.
    • The header now waits until hydration finishes before switching from its loading placeholder to signed-in controls, preventing a page-render mismatch when the session loads early.
  22. 21 September 2026

Header balance and net can refresh in place

The header Balance and Net breakdowns show how old their figures are and can reload without a full page refresh.

    • Open Balance or Net to see when the figures were last updated, with a Refresh control that also updates the pill totals.
    • While a breakdown stays open, the figures refresh automatically every 30 seconds.
  23. 21 September 2026

    Create sub-categories from the composer

The category picker on new transactions now matches payees: add a sub-category without leaving the page.

    • Open a category in the picker (chevron when it already has children, or a direct Add when it does not) or use the sticky Add sub-category footer when one is already selected.
    • Category rows show a small Parent only / N subs badge while browsing.
    • Creating from the composer uses a short name dialog that adds the category and selects it on the line; icon and colour stay in category settings.
  24. 21 September 2026

Sub-payee create stays inside the picker

Adding a sub-payee from the transaction composer no longer pushes an extra button under the payee field and misaligns multiline rows.

    • Open a payee in the picker (chevron when it already has children, or a direct Add when it does not) or use the sticky Add sub-payee footer when one is already selected; the composer line row stays a single aligned height.
    • Payee rows show a small Parent only / N subs badge so hierarchy depth is obvious while browsing.
    • Creating from the composer uses a short name-and-kind dialog that adds the payee and selects it on the line; full details stay in payee settings.
  25. 21 September 2026

Payee sticks when a default category applies

Choosing a payee with a default category in the transaction composer no longer clears the payee on the first pick.

    • Selecting a payee that has a default category now fills both the payee and the category on the first try.
  26. 21 September 2026

Transaction detail footer expand control spaced

On mobile, the show-more actions control on a transaction’s detail footer matches the drawer footer spacing.

    • The expand pill on the transaction detail action bar sits on its own divider with clear space above the buttons, like the transactions list drawer.
  27. 21 September 2026

More drawer closes after balance navigation

On mobile, leaving the Balance breakdown for a money pocket no longer leaves the More drawer stuck open.

    • Tapping a money pocket (or View all) in the Balance breakdown now closes both that drawer and the More sheet underneath.
    • Opening Balance or Net from More still keeps More open until you navigate or dismiss it yourself.
  28. 21 September 2026

Payee header balances total and period spend

Expanded and scrolled desktop headers make better use of the same space.

    • When the payee header is expanded, total spent stays large and the selected-period amount sits just beneath with an “In this period” label.
    • After you scroll, the sticky header shortens into a compact title row: kind · txns · age under the name, and period spend as a medium stacked figure on the right — without jumping the toolbar.
    • Expanded chrome still shows all-time total with “In this period” underneath; collapsing crossfades to the period primary so height never balloons.
  29. 21 September 2026

    Transfer create no longer blocked

Creating a transfer works again when the protected Transfer category is already on your account.

    • Submitting a new transfer no longer fails with “Unable to create transfer category.”
  30. 21 September 2026

    Archive from the notification bell

On desktop, you can archive a notification straight from the bell popover without opening the full inbox.

    • Hover a notification in the bell list to reveal an archive control; the item leaves the list right away.
    • Archive in the bell no longer covers the open-notification-page control on hover.
  31. 21 September 2026

    Banks, accounts and payment sources

Organise your finances by institution and account, with separate cards, pots and Direct payments.

    • Create and edit institutions, accounts and payment sources on full pages, with reconciled balances at every level.
    • Keep existing account history and links while reviewing the move to the new structure.
    • Preview and undo batches of payment-source corrections without changing your combined balance.
    • View credit account statement periods across all cards and Direct payments.
    • Filter transactions by institution and account, and carry the hierarchy through backups and CSV identities.
    • Upcoming payment coverage combines cards and Direct under their account and uses the shared account credit limit.
  32. 20 September 2026

    Faster transactions list first page

The transactions list loads filter catalogues and counts in parallel, and spreadsheet export no longer bloats the initial page bundle.

    • Opening or filtering the transactions list runs the first-page catalogue and count queries together instead of one after another.
    • Later scroll pages skip catalogue and facet work the UI already has from the first page.
    • Exporting to Excel loads the spreadsheet library only when you export, not on every visit to the list.
  33. 20 September 2026

    Faster categories directory

Categories browse and settings lists load from SQL aggregates instead of materialising every ledger line.

    • The categories directory and settings list no longer load the full transaction history just to show usage and sparklines.
    • Parent categories show rolled-up activity with SQL-built sparklines, matching tags and money pockets.
  34. 20 September 2026

    Snappier dashboard data loading

Dashboard widgets share ledger work instead of each reloading the full history, and KPI balances use SQL sums.

    • Opening the dashboard no longer repeats the same heavy ledger scan for every widget at once.
    • KPI opening and closing balances are calculated with SQL sums rather than loading every historical line into memory.
  35. 20 September 2026

Faster first paint on the dashboard

The dashboard shell streams sooner, and filter chrome no longer waits behind a second full-page skeleton.

    • Opening the dashboard shows the loading skeleton immediately while filter lists load in the background.
    • After bootstrap, the header and filters appear while widgets finish hydrating — no double full-page skeleton flash.
  36. 20 September 2026

Snappier loading on summaries and settings

Navigating into summaries, schedule review, and settings now shows matching skeletons instead of a blank wait.

    • Summaries hub, type libraries, and period detail show layout-matched loading skeletons while the page catches up.
    • Schedule review and price watch no longer flash the transactions table skeleton.
    • Settings hub, background activity, and summaries settings get proper loading states instead of empty or text-only waits.
  37. 19 September 2026

Reuse expand peeks without reshuffling actions

Opening a past transaction in the reuse list keeps Use now and Choose parts in place, and shows the full line list with amounts.

    • Expanding a reuse row no longer restyles or restacks the Use now and Choose parts buttons.
    • Expand loads the receipt lines with amounts so multi-line peeks show more than the short collapsed preview.
    • Tapping the row title expands when there is something to peek at; Choose parts stays on its own button.
    • Long private notes are clipped in the list, and the pin control uses a clearer on/off pin icon.
  38. 19 September 2026

    Clearer page titles on phones

The mobile top bar now carries each page’s title and help text, so screens stop repeating the heading.

    • On the phone layout, page titles live in the top bar instead of duplicating under it.
    • Tap the info icon next to a title to read the short page description without using vertical space.
    • Tap a truncated top-bar title to read the full name when a label is too long to fit.
    • Entity switchers and payee hierarchy trails no longer repeat the same long name under the top bar on phones.
    • Settings sections, directories, summaries, investments, schedule tabs, and detail screens now show the real page name in the top bar.
    • Directory and related screens keep Manage and secondary links in one compact row on phones, instead of staggered buttons under the title.
    • Wallet inbox drops the empty title strip on phones and keeps setup help with the Pending imports actions so section headers scroll cleanly.
  39. 19 September 2026

Wallet inbox sits flush with the tab bar

The history list no longer leaves a strip of empty space above the bottom navigation.

    • On phones, the wallet inbox content now reaches the top of the tab bar instead of leaving a gap under History.
  40. 18 September 2026

    Dashboard filters fit the phone

Filters open in a bottom drawer on mobile, without sideways scrolling.

    • On phones, dashboard filters now open as a bottom drawer instead of a side sheet.
    • The filter toolbar and active chips stay within the screen width, so the dashboard no longer scrolls sideways.
    • Filter explanations stay collapsed under “How these filters apply”, so controls fill the drawer first.
    • The mobile filter drawer header is denser, with less padding above the title and type actions on one row.
    • A missing or stale payee focus in the URL no longer crashes the dashboard.
    • Dashboard category and payee filters use the same hierarchical browse/search control as the transactions sidebar.
  41. 18 September 2026

Clearer transaction reuse in the composer

Finding the right past transaction to reuse is faster, with richer previews and smarter defaults.

    • Reuse list rows now show payee, category, pocket, relative dates, notes and multi-line peeks so you can tell matches apart without opening each one.
    • Suggested templates appear from your current pocket/payee/category, pins and past reuse; filter chips and group-by payee or week help narrow a long history.
    • Expand a row to peek at lines, pin favourites, search by amount, or tap Use now to bring sensible defaults across in one step.
    • Choose parts… still opens the checklist, now with presets, a bring-across preview, and clearer amount-clearing when approving a wallet import.
    • The composer button says Fill from… once you already have content, and the dialog title names expense or income so the list matches what you are recording.
    • Reuse filter chips keep their space while loading (no jump when category filters appear), fade at the edges with end-aware chevrons instead of a scrollbar, clear on a second click, and Suggested / Recent / payee / week headings stay sticky with a solid bar while you scroll.
  42. 17 September 2026

Payee details stay useful on phones

The compact header keeps its most useful context without crowding the screen.

    • Keep the immediate parent in the compact mobile navigation, then see identity, role, kind, activity, descendants, categories and review warnings in a calm two-line summary that scrolls away with the statistics; tap the category name for its linked breakdown, while leaf payees keep date and transfer controls together on one row.
    • Loading payee details now shows a responsive header preview that matches the finished mobile and desktop layouts, reducing movement when the page becomes ready.
    • Payee headers now connect cleanly to their period summary without an empty spacer band on desktop or mobile.
  43. 16 September 2026

Built-in payees and categories for finance actions

Starting balances, transfers and recovery flows now use stable entries that are ready in every account.

    • Find protected system payees and categories for starting balances, transfers, refunds, chargebacks and reimbursements in your normal pickers and settings.
    • Discount, tax, tip and foreign currency fee shortcuts now use protected categories that can be renamed without breaking receipt adjustments.
    • Add a foreign currency fee directly from Fees & charges; it stays with the purchase pocket and payee while recording the fee as a surcharge.
    • Rename and restyle system entries while their built-in role stays intact; they cannot be moved, archived, deleted or merged away.
    • Existing matching payees and categories are reused, preserving their transactions and avoiding duplicate setup entries.
    • Payee and category names now remove accidental extra spacing across creation, imports and restores, and duplicate names point you to the existing item or merge tool.
    • Payee and category merge screens now show transaction counts, hierarchy details and record IDs so identical names are easy to distinguish.
    • Payee details now open with one polished header that brings the logo, role, website or address, searchable hierarchy breadcrumbs, filters and actions together; see first and latest activity with exact hover timestamps, compare the clearer recent trend, hover for a linked category breakdown, review data-quality summaries, choose the hierarchy scope explicitly, navigate by keyboard, and keep the active filters while switching payees. Category headers now use the same identity treatment.
  44. 15 September 2026

Correct starting balances for new pockets

New money pockets now store the starting balance exactly as entered.

    • Creating a money pocket now converts pounds to ledger pennies correctly, so its opening transaction and balance are no longer 100 times too small.
  45. 15 September 2026

    Clearer transaction filters

Find payees faster with a simpler filter panel.

    • Filter headings show readable names without internal field identifiers.
    • Payee search and selection stay prominent, with a simple switch to include sub-payees.
    • Additional payee kind and place filters expand when needed, show an active count, and stay open while choices are edited or cleared.
    • Browse payees through their hierarchy in transaction filters; filter sections animate consistently while hierarchy lists are ready immediately.
    • Edit payees in a full-width workspace with searchable payee, category, kind, usage and icon pickers.
    • Payee settings keep the editor header and navigation visible while you scroll, with loading layouts that match both the directory and full editor.
    • The payee editor now uses consistent section borders, aligned labels, matching field heights, a Notes box that fills its column and clearer responsive grouping.
    • Payee activity, place coverage and settings pages now show route-specific browser titles and descriptions.
    • General screens now consistently say Payee, while expense entry says Supplier and income entry says Payer.
  46. 15 September 2026

    More context in the header

The finance glance now explains account balances and adapts to your preferred period.

    • Hover over the header balance to see every money pocket in a compact, scrollable list ordered by recent activity; each row shows the balance with remaining credit alongside it and the credit limit below, plus type, last-used date and a quick link to the full account.
    • Switch the header net between day, week, month, quarter and year-to-date views; the choice is remembered on this device.
    • On phones, find balance and net at the top of More, then tap either value for a touch-friendly breakdown drawer.
  47. 14 September 2026

Payee branches, places and clearer bulk edits

Organise payees, record their own place details and follow their activity across the hierarchy.

    • Dashboard widgets now load through your signed-in browser, fixing protected preview errors and avoiding duplicate data requests during page loading.
    • Browse root payees and sub-payees, follow parent and child links from payee details, search full paths, and switch between direct activity and totals including descendants.
    • Grouped transfers show pocket information without carrying a merchant’s address or coordinates into the transfer summary.
    • Create General, Physical or Online payees from entry or settings, including standalone shops and branches with optional addresses and manual coordinates.
    • Edit payee details on the full settings page, preview historical display changes, review reference counts before archiving, and restore archived payees. Merge remains on its own page.
    • Choose payees with the same hierarchy picker in transactions, plans, wallet review and bulk edits; selecting a parent shows a non-blocking hint, and hierarchy navigation uses payee labels.
    • Review the lines affected by a bulk classification change. Filtered edits default to matching lines, with whole-receipt changes available explicitly.
    • Filter activity by payee kind and coordinate coverage. The expense coverage page includes a Not plotted breakdown without assigning parent coordinates to children.
    • CSV imports support Payee IDs and full paths, require explicit mapping for duplicate names, and preserve shared metadata. Transaction exports offer descriptive payee path, kind, website, address and coordinate fields.
    • Preview wallet batch payee assignments before approving. Physical branches are suggested only from an existing explicit merchant mapping.
    • Merge previews distinguish payees by full path and ID, show the website that will be kept, and remain scrollable on mobile.
    • Add manual icons and colours to categories and payees, and optional logo URLs to payees. Audit history includes payee lifecycle and physical detail changes.
  48. 13 September 2026

    Payee backups and safer merges

Payee identity and existing plans are preserved through backups, archive and merge.

    • JSON transaction exports now use Payee fields, and saved export layouts retain their payee columns.
    • Payee ID is available as an optional column in table exports.
    • Account backups preserve payee classification, physical details and archived state; older backups remain supported.
    • Merging payees shows affected references and requires confirmation that physical payees represent the same place, with a choice of details to keep.
    • Existing transactions and configured plans can retain archived payees, while new assignments require an active payee.
  49. 12 September 2026

    A fuller payee editor

Edit payee details, organisation and defaults together.

    • Payee settings now group name and income/expense use alongside parent payee and default category.
    • Save all changes together or discard edits, with a clear unsaved-change indicator and a link to payee activity.
    • The parent picker excludes the payee itself and its descendants.
    • Edit from the payee settings list opens the full editor on desktop and mobile.
    • CSV exports use Payee labels. Imports accept both Payee and older Supplier columns and report conflicting names.
    • Transaction filter links and saved views now use Payee naming while older bookmarks keep their exact-payee results.
    • Merge duplicate payees from a dedicated settings page, reached from the Payees toolbar. Parent and default-category settings stay in each payee’s editor.
  50. 11 September 2026

    Payees directory and settings

Find the people and businesses you pay or receive money from under Payees.

    • The directory and settings now use Payees, with a dedicated page for editing each payee’s name and income/expense use.
    • Existing Supplier bookmarks still work and retain their filters.
    • Payee card titles preserve your saved display preferences.
    • Transaction entry uses Supplier for expenses and Payer for income, while mixed transaction filters use Payee.
  51. 10 September 2026

    Available credit at a glance

Money-pocket balances now make borrowing headroom clear on the dashboard.

    • Credit cards and current accounts with an overdraft now show the remaining available amount and percentage used in the dashboard Money pockets card, with subtle colour cues as utilisation rises.
  52. 9 September 2026

    Better link previews

Shared links now use a dedicated JAG Finance preview card.

    • Public pages have clearer link previews with a wide black-and-red branded image and page-specific addresses.
    • Preview deployments keep link previews and generated app links on the preview site.
    • Links requiring sign-in show a welcoming preview without exposing financial information.
  53. 8 September 2026

    Notifications beyond the app

Optional delivery channels and clearer security and background activity.

    • Choose email notifications by category when email delivery is enabled. Disabled email stays quiet, while configuration and delivery problems appear in service status.
    • Receive saved weekly, biweekly, four-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries by email, with income, expenses, net movement, and a link to the exact report version.
    • Review failed Google sign-ins in your security history and receive an alert when a failed attempt can be linked reliably to your account. Repeated failures are grouped to avoid repeated alerts.
    • Security history flags sign-ins from unfamiliar locations, with an explanation of approximate location data and alerts through your enabled channels.
    • Security history now distinguishes sign-outs, session removal, and device registration, renaming, and removal. Revoked sessions remain visible in the audit trail.
    • Open Background activity in Settings to see recent scans, summaries, reminders, and notification jobs, with live progress and clear failure states.
    • Connect selected notifications to a Zapier or Make webhook when webhook delivery is enabled, with signed events, encrypted destination settings, and delivery history.
  54. 8 September 2026

App icon matches the JAG suite

Favicon and install icons now use the same circle-mark style as JAG Tools and JAG Work.

    • Browser tabs, home-screen installs and share previews use one pound-in-circle mark that flips with light and dark mode, matching the rest of the JAG apps.
    • Install screenshots show the dashboard, transactions list and marketing home at both desktop and phone sizes, captured against a generated John Doe demo account rather than a real user.
  55. 2 September 2026

Safer imports, exports, and duplicate cleanup

A full reliability pass closes the remaining edge cases in data management.

    • Renaming a statement no longer bypasses repeat-import protection, while matching transaction ids from different accounts are kept separate.
    • Large imports and backup restores upload in bounded parts, large downloads stream without being truncated, and oversized expanded ZIP files are rejected before inflation.
    • Payee and category merges now move every related transaction, plan, mapping, and default together, and roll the whole merge back if any part fails.
    • Failed imports, undo attempts, payee updates, and duplicate merges now explain the problem on screen instead of failing silently.
    • Header-and-line exports preserve parent and round-up details, tags containing separators round-trip correctly, and QIF and OFX dates are more broadly compatible.
  56. 2 September 2026

    Account readiness follows upcoming payments

The schedule now shows whether each payment account is ready before money moves.

    • Upcoming payments show the same projected account check in the Series Hub, Upcoming table and occurrence sheet as they do in Cash runway. The calendar itself stays uncluttered, with the full balance or remaining-credit explanation available after opening an item.
  57. 1 September 2026

Cash runway checks the account a purchase uses

Enough cash overall no longer hides a short payment account.

    • Each upcoming purchase in Cash runway now shows a compact account status, making it easy to scan whether its payment account can cover it when due and exactly how much it is short. The check includes earlier scheduled movements; debit accounts use their projected balance, while credit cards use the remaining credit from their recorded limit.
  58. 1 September 2026

Data transfers are safer and easier to review

Imports now protect against repeat files and report exactly what was saved.

    • Importing the same statement again skips transactions already brought in by an earlier import, while genuinely new rows are still saved.
    • Statement imports now save accounts, categories, payees, transactions, and their history together; a problem rolls the whole import back instead of leaving partial data behind.
    • Import results report the number actually saved, category and payee matching ignores letter case, and import history shows every batch with useful loading errors.
    • Undo stops safely when an imported transaction has since gained a refund, transfer, recurring, or scheduled link.
    • Duplicate suggestions avoid opposite financial meanings such as transfers from and to an account, remember dismissed matches, and ask which record to keep before merging.
    • Payee merges now require confirmation, and only assignable categories can be chosen as payee defaults.
    • Backup restore now replaces auto-created defaults with the backed-up preferences, checks the complete finance account before restoring, and accepts portable backups up to 100 MB.
    • CSV, QIF, and OFX downloads now neutralise spreadsheet formulas, remove injected record breaks, and keep identically named accounts separate; large export queries are processed in safe chunks.
    • JAG header-and-line imports restore transaction tags, and ZIP statement imports now accept up to 100 MB compressed and expanded.
  59. 31 August 2026

Import a bank statement with a preview

Monzo, Starling, JAG Finance, and standard bank CSV files now have a guided way in.

    • Download a full, versioned JSON backup from Settings → Data. The ZIP separates the ledger, accounts and labels, plans, import history, preferences, summaries, notifications, and audit history into readable files with a manifest.
    • Upload that backup into a new or wiped account to restore the portable data. Record ids are regenerated safely, while sign-in tokens and push credentials remain excluded.
    • The backup deliberately leaves out OAuth and session tokens, API key secrets, verification credentials, and push-notification keys.
    • Export the entire transaction history from Settings → Data as CSV, OFX, or QIF; the server builds the file directly, so it is not limited to rows already loaded in the browser.
    • Group payees under a parent, give each payee a default category, and merge duplicate merchants without leaving Settings → Payees.
    • Move from YNAB, Actual Budget, or Monarch Money by uploading their transaction export; Excel workbooks and generic spreadsheet layouts can be previewed in the same importer.
    • Scan payees and categories for likely duplicate names in Settings → Data, dismiss false matches, or merge a duplicate into the record you want to keep.
    • Import statements in a dedicated full-page workspace with column overrides and a dry run showing new accounts, categories, and payees before anything is saved.
    • Every statement import now has durable server-side history: open a batch to see its source file and every transaction it created, or undo it while protecting transactions that gained later links.
    • Transaction exports now preserve receipt headers and their signed posting lines: structured JSON nests the lines, while the CSV ZIP keeps linked header and line sheets alongside a manifest.
    • Upload a ZIP to the statement importer: JAG Finance header and line exports keep their linked receipt structure, while archives from other apps combine recognised CSV files and report anything skipped.
    • Large transaction exports now show that the file is being built and prevent repeat clicks until the download is ready.
    • Full JSON backups now show their progress and prevent repeat clicks while the server collects the account data.
    • A new Data page in Settings recognises common Monzo and Starling statement layouts, as well as the existing JAG Finance CSV and standard date/description/amount bank files.
    • Every valid row is normalised into pounds and pence and shown in a preview before anything is saved; malformed rows are called out by row number instead of disappearing silently.
    • Imported account, category, and payee names are matched to your existing records or created when they are new.
  60. 31 August 2026

A tighter dashboard overview on desktop

The headline figures leave more of the screen for the detail below them.

    • On a wide screen, the four Overview cards now use less height without hiding their figures or comparisons, and their loading placeholders keep the same dimensions so the dashboard stays still as the data arrives.
  61. 31 August 2026

Dashboard reads better on a phone

The top figures and the "Looking ahead" cards no longer feel squeezed on a small screen.

    • The percentage pill under each headline figure is no longer clipped at the bottom of its card.
    • In "Looking ahead", the next 7/30/90 day tiles now swipe sideways on a phone instead of stacking, so the list of upcoming payments and income underneath has room for several rows rather than two.
    • The smallest lines of supporting text in those cards are a touch larger on a phone.
  62. 31 August 2026

A Monday nudge for the weekly review

The review no longer relies on you remembering it exists.

    • A prompt now arrives on Monday morning, alongside the usual payment reminders, telling you what the week has waiting — imports to approve, suggestions to decide, payments due and a summary to skim.
    • It stays quiet on weeks with nothing outstanding, and on weeks you have already ticked off, so it only shows up when there is something to do.
    • Tapping it opens the review. You can turn it off, or move it to another channel, under "Weekly Review Prompt" in notification settings.
    • "Looking ahead" on the dashboard no longer leaves empty areas: income ahead sits under the health score and the two now divide the cash runway's height exactly, at any window width, and the list of upcoming income is sized to its rows rather than stretching into a blank box.
  63. 31 August 2026

Price watch knows income from outgoings

A drop in pay is no longer shown as good news.

    • Price watch colours a change by what it means for you rather than by which way the number moved, so pay falling reads as bad while a bill falling reads as good. Transfers between your own pockets stay neutral.
    • The summary line now says how much better or worse off the changes leave you per payment cycle. It previously summed income and outgoings together, so a pay cut could cancel out a price rise.
    • Rounded corners on the review and price watch lists to match the rest of the app, and the review checklist no longer shifts down when you open an earlier week.
    • Ticking a review step, or resetting the ticks, no longer flickers on and off before settling — the tick now holds from the moment you click it.
  64. 31 August 2026

Open and fix up an earlier weekly review

Past weeks in the review are now editable, and the week you are on is in the URL.

    • Pick a week under "Earlier weeks" to load its checklist and tick or untick steps — useful when you worked through something but forgot to mark it.
    • The chosen week lives in the address as ?week=, so a particular week can be bookmarked or shared and survives a refresh.
    • An earlier week shows the queue sizes recorded at the time rather than today's, nothing ticks itself, and the step shortcuts are hidden because they would open this week's work.
    • "Earlier weeks" now stays on the page when you have no history yet and explains that a week joins the list once it ends.
    • Steps no longer flash as done and then undo themselves while the page loads — they read "Checking…" until the real queue sizes arrive.
  65. 31 August 2026

The schedule calendar fills the window

The month grid now uses the whole page height on desktop.

    • Weeks share the leftover height instead of sitting at a fixed size, so a tall window no longer leaves a band of empty space under the calendar and each day has more room for its items.
    • On a short window the grid scrolls rather than squashing the days.
  66. 31 August 2026

Bank holidays on the calendar, and a way to opt out

The Upcoming calendar marks bank holidays, so shifted payment dates explain themselves.

    • Bank holidays are marked in the month grid and named in the day panel, so a payment landing on the Tuesday after Easter Monday no longer looks arbitrary.
    • The month summary line says when the month contains bank holidays.
    • A schedule can now opt out of the shifting: edit a series and turn on "Date does not move" for anything that genuinely lands on its nominal date. Cash runway, income ahead and the projection overlay all respect it.
  67. 31 August 2026

Weekly review history follows you between devices

Review ticks are now saved to your account instead of the browser you used.

    • Reviewing a week on your laptop now shows as reviewed on your phone. Ticks used to live in the browser, so each device had its own idea of which weeks you had done.
    • Weeks you ticked before this change are pushed up automatically the next time you open the review page.
    • Clearing site data no longer wipes your review history.
  68. 31 August 2026

The dashboard stops jumping as it loads

The Looking ahead cards hold their size while they load, so nothing below them moves.

    • Cash runway, Financial health and Income ahead are now a fixed height with their lists scrolling inside, so the page does not resize when the numbers arrive.
    • The dashboard placeholder now includes the Looking ahead section, which previously appeared out of nowhere and pushed everything down.
    • Cash runway and Income ahead show every upcoming item and source in their list rather than only the first four.
    • The Looking ahead refresh button now updates all three of its cards, and Daily cashflow also refreshes the projection overlay. Previously each only refreshed one card.
  69. 30 August 2026

Money totals on the schedule calendar

The Upcoming calendar now shows how much a day and a month move, not just what is due.

    • A line above the grid totals the month you are looking at: money in, money out, and how many items are scheduled.
    • Each day shows its own scheduled in and out, and heavier outgoing days are shaded more strongly relative to the busiest day in the month.
    • The Review and Prices tabs now use the full page width, matching Upcoming and Overview.
    • The weekly review lists earlier weeks, so you can see which weeks you gave a full pass.
  70. 30 August 2026

    Forecasts now respect bank holidays

Projections put money in and out on the working day it actually moves, not on weekends and bank holidays.

    • Bills due at a weekend or on an England & Wales bank holiday are projected on the next working day, matching how direct debits are taken.
    • Income due on a non-working day is projected on the working day before, matching how pay usually lands early.
    • The cash runway, balance projection and income forecast all use these adjusted dates.
    • Cash runway says how many upcoming items were moved, and each listed item shows when it actually clears.
  71. 30 August 2026

    Subscription price watch

A new Prices tab in the schedule hub shows what each series charges now against the price it had settled on.

    • Series whose latest payment moved are listed first, largest change leading; steady series are hidden behind a toggle.
    • The comparison price is the median of earlier payments, so one odd month does not become the baseline.
    • Series on a fixed cadence with near-identical history are marked as fixed price, which is where a rise really matters.
    • Rows whose series expected amount is now out of date say so, since forecasts depend on it.
  72. 30 August 2026

    Expected income on the dashboard

The Looking ahead section now shows what is coming in, not just what is going out.

    • An Income ahead card totals scheduled inflows over the next 30 and 90 days and nets them against the outgoings due in the same window.
    • Repeat inflows are grouped by source, so two months of salary read as one line with a next payment date.
    • The card leads with when the next inflow lands and how much it is.
    • Sources backed by a series link straight to that series.
  73. 30 August 2026

Alerts when a bill changes amount

Posting a recurring bill for meaningfully more or less than expected now tells you about it.

    • A notification fires when a posted bill differs from the series expected amount by at least 10% and £2, so small roundings stay quiet.
    • Bills that always vary need a bigger move before they alert, judged against their own payment history.
    • A rise above every previous payment is described as a price change rather than a one-off spike.
    • Bill amount changes are their own notification category in settings, so you can turn them off or move them to push separately.
  74. 30 August 2026

Scheduled money on the balance chart

The running balance chart now carries on past today with the bills and income already scheduled.

    • A dashed forward line extends the balance chart by the next 30 days of scheduled items, with a marker where the projection begins.
    • Hovering a projected day shows the balance it lands on and the scheduled movement for that day.
    • A Show scheduled / Hide scheduled toggle in the chart header remembers your choice.
    • The forward line starts where the posted balance ends, so it follows your filters; absolute projected balances stay in the cash runway card.
  75. 30 August 2026

A weekly review pass for the schedule

A new Review tab in the schedule hub walks you through the four things worth checking once a week.

    • Review covers the wallet inbox, schedule suggestions, the next seven days of scheduled items, and the latest weekly summary — each with a live count and a link straight to it.
    • Steps with nothing outstanding tick themselves, so a quiet week can be done in a couple of clicks.
    • Ticks are kept per week and reset on their own each Monday, with a reset button if you want to start the week again.
  76. 30 August 2026

One health score for the whole picture

The dashboard now puts cash runway, savings rate and debt load into a single figure out of 100.

    • A Health score card sits beside the cash runway, showing a score out of 100 with a Strong / Fair / Weak / Poor grade.
    • Each part of the score has its own bar, its share of the total, and a line explaining why it scored what it did.
    • The card says which part is holding the score back and which is helping it most.
    • Parts that do not apply — no income recorded in the last 90 days, or no credit cards — are left unscored instead of counting as zero.
  77. 30 August 2026

    Cash runway on the dashboard

The dashboard now answers "can I afford what is coming?" without opening the schedule hub.

    • A new Looking ahead section shows your spendable cash today against everything scheduled over the next 7, 30 and 90 days.
    • Each window says how much is due, what your balance is projected to be once it clears, and whether that leaves you covered, tight or short.
    • If the projection dips below zero, the widget says how many days of cover you have left and on which day it runs out.
    • Overdue items are counted as owed today rather than folded into the next seven days, and credit-card balances are kept out of available cash.
  78. 30 August 2026

    One editor for every transaction

Round-up transfers now open in the same editor as everything else, and a round-up left behind by an expense edit can be put right in one click.

    • Editing a round-up transfer uses the standard transaction editor, so it has the same fields, change summary and delete flow as every other transaction.
    • Changing an expense amount no longer quietly rewrites its round-up transfer in the same save. Instead, the expense and its round-up now flag up when they no longer agree.
    • When a round-up no longer matches its expense, the linked money panel offers a one-click recalculation that keeps your chosen multiplier.
    • If an expense edit leaves nothing to round up — it became a whole pound, or it moved off the round-up pocket — the notice says so and points you at the transfer to edit or delete.
    • Deleting an expense that owns a round-up now says outright that the round-up transfer goes with it, instead of vaguely warning that it might need cleaning up.
  79. 30 August 2026

    Steadier bulk actions bar

The bulk actions bar on Transactions no longer jumps around as you select rows.

    • Selecting transactions in bulk edit mode keeps the bulk actions bar in one place instead of growing and shifting up.
    • While you have a selection, the bar shows only the actions that apply to it; the "all matching" actions come back once you clear the selection.
  80. 30 August 2026

    Sign-in failures explain themselves

A failed Google sign-in now tells you what went wrong instead of dropping you on a blank page.

    • When Google sign-in fails you land back on the sign-in page with a plain-language reason, such as a temporary server problem or an account that is not on the allowlist.
    • Arriving at the home page with a leftover sign-in error now forwards you to the sign-in page so the message is never lost.
  81. 30 August 2026

    Default filter views

Pick the view Transactions should open on, and see what syncs and what does not.

    • Set any saved view as your default and it applies whenever you open Transactions without filters in the URL.
    • The Views menu now says that filter views stay on this device while column layouts and profiles sync to your account.
  82. 30 August 2026

Wallet inbox looks like the rest of the app

The import queue now wears the same chrome as the transactions pages.

    • The wallet inbox header is compact and carries Transactions breadcrumbs, so imports read as part of the transactions surface rather than a separate tool.
  83. 30 August 2026

    Recategorise everything that matches

Category and payee changes can now follow your filters, not just your ticks.

    • Recategorise all matching applies a new category or payee to every transaction the current filters return, the same way Tag all matching already worked.
  84. 30 August 2026

Clearer link between the chart and the list

The timeline chart now says which dates it filtered you to, and the list follows.

    • Filtering from the chart shows a chip naming the active range, which clears the filter when you click it.
    • Changing the date range scrolls the list back to the first matching transaction instead of leaving you mid-history.
  85. 30 August 2026

Bulk actions on the phone list

Bulk editing is no longer desktop-only.

    • Turn on bulk edit from the transactions toolbar on a phone and tap cards to select them, with a checkbox on each row.
    • The bulk action bar now sits above the home indicator and stretches to the full width on small screens.
  86. 30 August 2026

    Bulk category and payee changes

Fix a mis-categorised batch of transactions in one pass instead of one at a time.

    • Select transactions on the list and use Category / payee in the bulk bar to re-point every line at a new category, a new payee, or both.
    • Leaving a field blank keeps what is already there, and amounts and dates are never touched.
  87. 30 August 2026

    One transactions surface

The transaction pages now read, navigate and act the same way, wherever you enter them from.

    • Transaction detail, line, edit and create pages share the same breadcrumbs and action layout, so Edit, Copy link and the overflow menu sit where you expect.
    • Round-ups, refunds and reimbursements now show as a linked-money strip while you edit a transaction and on line pages, instead of only appearing when a delete is blocked.
  88. 30 August 2026

    Accuracy, batching and honest copy

A pass over the rough edges: balances that explain themselves, faster wallet review, and marketing that matches the app.

    • Adjustment lines now explain why they show under Debit but credit the balance, with regression tests behind the maths.
    • Approve several wallet imports at once using shared defaults, keeping each row’s own suggestions.
    • Duplicate a transaction from the command palette, with one label for the action everywhere.
    • Compare two versions of a period summary side by side to see what a backfill changed.
    • Delete confirmations now itemise what else changes, including round-ups and recurring occurrences.
    • One-off scheduled payments can remind you days before the due date, like recurring series.
    • Private notes on a transaction have proper read and edit modes, with Cmd/Ctrl+Enter to save.
    • The wallet Shortcut setup guide has its own page you can link to from anywhere.
    • Empty money-pocket states now tell you how to create your first pocket instead of showing a blank picker.
    • Site and legal copy no longer promise budgets, goals, sharing or paid tiers that do not exist.
    • The transactions chart tooltip now sits above the “upcoming” scroll-up pill instead of behind it.
  89. 18 August 2026

    Schedule hub and one-off payments

Everything you have coming up — recurring bills and one-off plans — moved behind a single schedule hub.

    • New schedule hub with an overview dashboard, upcoming list and series routes under path-based tabs.
    • One-off scheduled payments: plan a single future payment, get nudged, then post or cancel it.
    • Create a series from a full-page composer flow, with a start date and a live preview.
    • Post a future-dated transaction from the composer and it offers to schedule it instead.
    • Adjustment types extended to cover surcharges and fees as well as discounts.
  90. 7 August 2026

    Denser dashboard and smarter suggestions

The dashboard got room to breathe on desktop, and the composer started guessing better.

    • Dashboard widgets expand into full dialogs on desktop, with soft refresh and auto-refetch.
    • Smart item-name suggestions when adding receipt lines.
    • Copy parts of an existing transaction into the composer, choosing individual lines.
    • Reminders group by occurrence in the notification inbox, with live linked context on detail.
    • Click an insight on a transaction to filter the workbench by it.
  91. 28 July 2026

    Recurring series

Bills and subscriptions became first-class: a series you manage, with upcoming occurrences on the ledger.

    • Recurring hub with sortable, URL-persisted tables and mobile card lists.
    • Upcoming occurrences show as ghost rows on the transactions list, ready to commit, edit, skip or snooze.
    • Reschedule from an anchor date, or cascade the change to later occurrences.
    • Link an existing transaction to an occurrence, with search, multi-select and hover details.
    • Undo a skip, delete cancelled occurrences, and audit every lifecycle change.
    • Same-day split transactions group into daily aggregates.
  92. 27 July 2026

    Period summaries and PDF digests

Weekly through annual summaries, generated in the background and kept as versions you can re-read.

    • Weekly, bi-weekly, 4-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual periods, each with versioned digests.
    • Generate in the background with live progress, then read, print or save an A4 PDF.
    • Basic and full PDF layouts, the full one with live charts.
    • Digest notification preferences and a settings page for summaries.
    • Delete a digest version, with the remaining versions renumbered contiguously.
  93. 16 July 2026

    Dashboard rebuild and install prompts

A denser dashboard, and a nudge to install the app properly on your phone.

    • Dashboard rebuilt around tabs, charts and drill-downs, with a filters drawer on mobile.
    • Swipe-up install prompt and a notification-permission banner.
    • Preference profiles now cover the native mobile lists too.
    • Money-pocket and entity settings lists gained sortable columns synced to the URL.
    • Nested category trees with block-drag on mobile cards.
  94. 5 July 2026

    Notifications and the Security Centre

The app can tell you when something happens, and show you everything done to your account.

    • Full notification system: inbox, push alerts, grouping, delivery retry and per-category settings.
    • Mobile notification button with an unread count.
    • Security Centre with a session manager, sign-in detection and a security event timeline.
    • Append-only audit log with dedicated detail pages for audit and security events.
    • Legal pages added to the public site.
  95. 2 July 2026

    Installable app with offline support

JAG Finance became a proper installed app that survives losing signal.

A transaction stopped being one amount: you can itemise a receipt, line by line, with adjustments.

    • Multi-line receipts with item names, shelf pricing, adjustments and a totals footer.
    • One composer for income, expense and transfer, with layout modes and a multi-line table.
    • Round-ups work on multi-line receipts, netted after in-receipt adjustments and grouped by current account.
    • Round-up configuration moved into a side sheet, with an item and adjustment breakdown.
    • Desktop keyboard flow through the composer: tab order, field shortcuts and combobox navigation.

Money coming back is now tracked against the thing it came back from.

    • Refunds and chargebacks, including whole-receipt refunds, with status shown in the table.
    • Bidirectional links between a transaction and its refunds, plus a correlation-filtered audit trail.
    • Reimbursements: record money owed back by someone else, split amounts, and edit recoveries.
    • Recovery sidebar with edit, blocked and remaining states.
    • Deletes are guarded when linked refunds or round-ups exist.

    • Per-format preferences, field formats and progress phases you can cancel.
    • Export works from the transactions table, honouring the filters you have applied.

    • Tag filters and facet counts on the transactions list.
    • Append-only audit log recording transaction changes, with actor labels and filters.

    • A choice of classic or enhanced chart, backed by server-side bucketing and prior-period data.
    • Named table preference profiles that keep chart and table settings in sync.
    • Saved local filter views, configurable load sizes and a guided empty state when filters match nothing.
    • Single command palette on Cmd+K everywhere, with transaction filters built in.
    • Header glance showing balance, monthly spend and an income/expense breakdown.

    • Opening balances for ledger-backed money pockets, linked to their opening lines.
    • Transfer editing that updates both legs at once.

    Wallet inbox and API keys

    • Setup guide sheet explaining the Shortcut and its request body.
    • API key management with usage logging and request analytics.

    • Amounts stored in pence rather than pounds, removing floating-point rounding errors.
    • Prisma removed from the codebase entirely.
