Getting Started
What do I set up first?
Start with an institution and account, then use its Direct source or add a card. Record transactions against a source; the account shows their combined balance. Categories, payees and tags can be created as you type them into the composer.
Can I import my existing financial data?
Upload a CSV, Excel, or ZIP statement from Settings → Data → Import statement. Monzo, Starling, YNAB, Actual Budget, Monarch Money and JAG Finance exports are recognised, and a preview is shown before saving. There is no live bank connection. The wallet inbox remains available for iOS Shortcut automations.
How secure is my financial information?
Sign-in is Google OAuth limited to an allowlist, everything is served over HTTPS, and API keys are stored hashed with per-key usage logs so you can revoke one without touching the rest.
Account & Access
Are there paid plans?
No. There are no tiers, subscriptions or trials, and no feature is held back behind a payment. Nothing in the app asks for card details.
How do I get an account?
Sign-in is invite-only: your Google address has to be on the allowlist before the app will let you in. There is no self-service sign-up.
Can I export my data?
Not yet from the UI. Period summaries have a print view you can save as a PDF, and the underlying Postgres database can be dumped by the account holder. A proper export is on the roadmap.
Features & Usage
What are accounts and payment sources?
An account holds the balance you reconcile with your bank or card statement. Its payment sources show how activity arrived, such as Direct transfers or card purchases. Their activity contributes to the account balance; a source does not have a separate balance.
How do I set up recurring transactions?
In the composer, choose Recurring and set the frequency and expected amount. For a single future payment, choose Schedule instead — both can remind you a chosen number of days before the due date.
Can more than one person use it?
Each allowlisted account has its own separate records. There is no shared or joint view, so the app suits one person keeping one household's books.
